Up for sale we have a killer 1968 Chevy Camaro RS. This is a super nice Camaro that sports an excellent look with the working RS set up and paired with being very driveable. The ’68 looked similar to the ’67 with only some minor changes. The most noticeable being the side market lights and the loss of the vent window. In the paragraphs to follow I will give a brief description on the exterior, interior, and heartbeat of this Camaro, but first I would like to tell you a little about us.
Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned and operated business that owns our entire inventory, no consignments, and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 50 to 60 cars at all times. When you walk around this ’68 you will see that it has a laser staright body that is covered in a slick Tuxedo black that has been buffed to a mirror finish. It is accented by the Silver SS stripes that are laid under the clear coat to give them the mirror finish as well. This RS has the updated hide aways that are electric and work perfectly. She also has new bumpers with all the stainless being polished to be in a near new condition. All of the glass appears to be factory and in very good condition. The final exterior touch is the new 18” and 20” Rockets.
Next we will take a look at the interior of the Camaro. It is done in the classic black with bucket seats and console with the factory horse shoe shifter. All of the inside of this Camaro looks new from the carpet to the headliner. The dash is all factory with everything working and has had the radio updated to a CD player that is in the glove box to keep from cutting the dash.
Finally, we will check out the heartbeat of this ’68. It has a 350 V8 with Aluminum intake and a Holley Carb, with chrome valve covers and breather. It has flow master exhaust with headers to give it the sound we all love. It comes with Power Steering and 4 wheel drum brakes. When you look under the Camaro you will see it appears to be very solid with the frame rails and sub frame appearing to be solid as well. Terms and Conditions
Winning bidder must contact us within 24 hours of auction end, and make arrangements for payment at that time. A $1000.00 non-refundable deposit is due within 48 hours of end of auction. The remainder is due within 5 days of auction end. If no contact is made within 24 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise. Most banks and credit unions do not finance vehicles older than 1995 or with more than 100K miles. Make sure if financing that your financial institution accepts the year and miles of this vehicle before bidding. Please arrange financing prior to bidding.
Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping of this vehicle. If you wish to have it shipped using a service, we will gladly cooperate. You can locate shippers by doing a search for `auto shippers`.
