Up for sale we have a killer 1968 Chevy Camaro Big Block 4 Speed. ’68 was the second year for the Camaro. They did not change a lot from the 67 aside from the new grill, side marker lights, and doing away with the vent windows. In the paragraphs to follow I will give you a brief description on the exterior, interior, and heartbeat of the Camaro, but first I would like to tell you a little about us.
Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned and operated business that owns our entire inventory, no consignments, and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 50 to 60 cars at all times. We don’t have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So, that’s how we can sell for less than other dealers. We will start off with the exterior of the Camaro. When you walk around this ’68 you can see that it has a laser straight body that is covered with a super slick Tuxedo Black Paint that has been buffed to a deep rich shine. This Camaro has new bumpers, door handles, emblems, and stainless. It is has been fitted with a steel SS Hood with new chrome on it. All of the gaps are good and symmetrical with both of the doors, hood, and trunk opening and closing as they should. The weather stripping is either new or is in like new condition. The final exterior touch is the 18” and 20” Americans.
Next, we will move on to the interior of the ’68. It is done in all black with bucket seats, factory console, and shifter. The Headliner and carpet looks to be new along with the seat and door panels being in like new condition. When you look at the dash it is complete and retains the factory radio. The interior is very clean and neat and the perfect complement to the exterior scheme of the car.
Finally, we will move on to the heartbeat of the Camaro. It features a 396 V8 that is mated to a 4 speed transmission. The ’68 comes with an aluminum intake, factory chrome valve covers, Power Brakes, and Power Steering. For the exhaust it has headers and new dual exhaust with Turbo mufflers to give it the old school sound. When you look under this Camaro the bottom looks very solid with one pan that has been replaced and as you can see from the photos it was fitted and welded the right way. If you want a Camaro that you can play with on Friday night and cruise to a show on Saturday then this is it.

Terms and Conditions
Winning bidder must contact us within 24 hours of auction end, and make arrangements for payment at that time. A $1000.00 non-refundable deposit is due within 48 hours of end of auction. The remainder is due within 5 days of auction end. If no contact is made within 24 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise. Most banks and credit unions do not finance vehicles older than 1995 or with more than 100K miles. Make sure if financing that your financial institution accepts the year and miles of this vehicle before bidding. Please arrange financing prior to bidding.
Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping of this vehicle. If you wish to have it shipped using a service, we will gladly cooperate. You can locate shippers by doing a search for `auto shippers`.
