Up for sale we have a very nice 1981 Chevy Camaro Z28. 1981 was the last year for the 2nd generation Camaro that was started in 1970. There was only a little over 10K 4 speed Camaro’s built in ’81 and this is one of them. In the paragraphs to follow I will give a brief description of the exterior, interior, and heartbeat of the Camaro, but first I would like to tell you a little about us.
Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned and operated business that owns our entire inventory, no consignments, and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 50 to 60 cars at all times. We don’t have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So, that’s how we can sell for less than other dealers. We will start with the exterior of the Z28. It retains the factory light blue paint with all the factory trim that is in good condition. The body is solid and straight with only a few imperfections which aren’t bad for a 31 year old car. The Camaro even has the original wheels on the Corners. All the weather stripping looks good as well as the glass. All of the lights also work as they should.
Next, we will take a look at the inside of the Camaro. When you look inside you will notice it looks as it did in ’81. It has the factory blue insides that all look very good from the seats to the headliner. It has the factory tilt wheel and a 5K red line tach. The only thing that has been upgraded that I can see is the CD player. This car also has A/C and is showing only 87K miles which we believe to be correct.
Last we will take a look at the heart beat of the ’81. This car comes with a high output 305 which was only available with the four speed trans option. The only thing that is not correct under the hood is the intake, valve covers, and breather. It still has the A/C along with Power steering and Power Disk Brakes. The exhaust has been updated to flow master mufflers and new pipes. The bottom of this Z28 look as it did in 1981.

Terms and Conditions
Winning bidder must contact us within 24 hours of auction end, and make arrangements for payment at that time. A $1000.00 non-refundable deposit is due within 48 hours of end of auction. The remainder is due within 5 days of auction end. If no contact is made within 24 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise. Most banks and credit unions do not finance vehicles older than 1995 or with more than 100K miles. Make sure if financing that your financial institution accepts the year and miles of this vehicle before bidding. Please arrange financing prior to bidding.
Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping of this vehicle. If you wish to have it shipped using a service, we will gladly cooperate. You can locate shippers by doing a search for `auto shippers`.
