If you have been watching and waiting for a 1968 Camaro, here is the one.

No expense spared. No short cuts taken. Always garaged. Never driven in bad weather.

Rally sport option. Headlights open and close perfectly.

Factory 15 inch rally wheels. Caps and trim rings like new.

Factory tilt steering wheel.

Factory air conditioning.

Factory deep pulley alternator.

Factory 12 bolt rear end with very tight posi. 4:11 gears and factory multi-leaf springs. 

Factory front power disc brakes. Power steering.

 Fully functioning steel cowl induction hood.

 Factory Tic Toc Tac.

Original factory console with gauges was removed to install the Hurst shifter. The wiring is still intact, and tucked up behind the dash. Console was not available when I bought it. I paid alot for it. Obviously a very expensive restoration, as the bank loan was 38k.

The body and paint are almost perfect. The interior is also in super condition and amazing to look at. No rust anywhere. It smells like new 1968 inside. Super tight. No rattles or squeaks. Doors close solid. No play or sag in the hinges.

The air cleaner says 302, but the block numbers dont. I didnt build it, but Ive owned 2 camaros with 302's, and this one runs just like they did, maybe even faster. Not much bottom end torque, but comes on like its turbocharged and winds into the stratosphere. No traction in first and second gear without peddling it.

It has headers, victor jr. intake, holley double pumper, angle plug heads, and a very nasty sounding cam. Along with the close ratio 4 speed, the combo works perfectly. Very fast and fun to drive. The clutch and shifter work perfectly.  This car runs, drives, and feels just like a new 1968 camaro. I should know. I had one.

I sold my 68 rs ss last year,that needed totally restored, for almost 20k, and this one is much, much nicer. I turned down 30k last summer at a local car show. There is no way you could replace it for that much. Its appraised and insured for 40k. Now I need money for family matters, so a few of dads toys are for sale. Please see my other ads.

This camaro has factory 14 inch rally wheels with 245\60\14 tires that are like new. Sorry for any confusion. 14 inch is what 1968 SS cars came with. My Z28 had 15's and I thought these were 15's also. Again, sorry for the mixup,,,john
