1991 Chevrolet Camaro Z28
Originally a 305 TPI Automatic, car now has a carbureted set upon what i was told is a Chevy 350. Motor runs great, car has sufficient power, transmission shifts firmly. Car has decent tires all around 50-60% tread life remaining. Has the spoiler unique for 91 +92 Z28's and wheels for Z28's and the RS. Very nice car just needs some MINOR finishing touches. I get compliments literally every time I drive it. Never raced or beat on, built for show not go but it will still get out of its own way. I bought this from an older gentlemen who has painted and done body work for years. He said the paint job he did on it would run between 2500-3000 by itself. Paint is not flawless, but is very nice, it is smooth and does shine like new. Car parks inside year-round.
All these parts have less than 500 miles: Front pads and rotors, shocks all around, fuel pump, spark plugs and wires, MSD cap and rotor, Edelbrock performer intake, rebuilt Holley 4165 DP carb, upper radiator hose, coolant flush, oil change, twin K&N filters, Competition Engineering 6 point roll bar,and last but not least the paint job. I also installed the Recaro cloth bucket seats which are genuine a 1980's model. Manifold back exhaust with Patriot Chrome Sidepipes. I can remove the sidepipes and include factory exhaust for the buyer if they prefer.
The things that still need done:
- headlight switch is believed to be going bad, so will need a new one at some point. (lights work 90% of the time)
- to keep the factory hood, a slim air cleaner must be installed. I have it but have not had time to install it yet. Rest assured the carb is covered so no debris is getting in.
- Hood shocks are ok, but not the best. I will Include 2 new ones.
- Have a set of Z28 emblems, just have not installed yet. Also will be included.
- Lastly, trunk lock cylinder seized up, so will need to get a new one. Costs maybe 5 bucks at autozone. Again, I have simply not had time or else it be done.
- Has a 1986 Z28 Front Ground Effects
CAR WAS ONLY TAKEN OUT ON NICE SUNNY DAYS
