This is my personal vehicle. I have almost a decade invested in it to get it in it's current shape. I do NOT need to sell it, but I have another interest I could use the money for. Now to the car.

The paint is about 7 years old now, and has it flaws from age, but it still shows very well and I show it at the local car shows often. Not perfect, and has about 14,000 miles since the paint job, but it is not brand new nor high dollar. A good detailing would probably do wonders for it. In the pictures it is just out of the garage with a coating of dust. There is no rust. It has never been driven in the winters and is SOLID.

The interior is black and is in EXCELLENT shape. It has the very rare Lear Siegler "Camaro" seats good shape. There is a small cig burn in one rear seat bottom but the other rear and the passenger front seat are in great shape, the driver seat is bad as they all are but I have a set of the original GM fabric that will go with the car. Yes, original GM lear Siegler fabric and the factory fabric on the sides of the seats that is solid black. I bought these almost 7 years ago when I had the car painted but never had the interior redone as I use a seat cover. Other than the driver seat the interior is excellent.

New windshield in the last 100 miles, new tires with less then 300 miles on them. BFGoodrich up front and Nitto 555's on the back. Rear suspension uses Lakewood Traction Action bars and it hooks well. Has won 2 Wednesday night drag races at Lebanon Valley New York. Very consistent and hooks hard at the strip. Still rides nice as well. The rear end itself is out of a 1995 Trans Am 6 speed car with a 3.42 ratio and posi.

Car retains the stock 700R4 Transmission and shifts perfectly. Aluminum driveshaft, Flowmaster exhaust after the cat (Cat new 3 years ago). While it does not need to pass emissions because of it's age, IT WILL! Runs excellent.

Original 305 TPI engine died last year sadly. Good news is it was replaced with an L98 350 out of a 1988 IROC Camaro. All new gaskets and repainted and detailed, no leaks or issues. I had a custom chip burned to mimic the 1985 Corvette L98 and used all the original computer and wiring and emissions equipment and exhaust. ALL STOCK. New exhaust would certainly open up 30-40 horsepower but I like the simplicity of the stock exhaust. Runs an aftermarket MAF sensor with a chip in it instead of the crappy wire design from GM. Brand new injectors used when engine swapped in. They are louder than I would like but do not seem to have any issues. The car has about 250 miles on it since the engine swap and it runs awesome. No check engine lights, no bogs, no hesitations no fluttering etc. Runs hard, fast and clean as it should.

This car has been my obsession for almost a decade and I have thrown a ton of time and money at it. It is not a stock car, it is not a Barret Jackson car. Only known flaws are wiper motor does not work, I never worried because I NEVER drove it in the rain, and since the engine swap the starter motor seems to suffer from heat soak and does not want to start after driving at operating temperature until it cools down a bit. I have already bought a mini starter for it I will include and an Optima battery would be a great addition and I will do that this spring if I keep the car. I believe the heat soak issue is because the stock 305 exhaust is closer to the starter motor than the 88 L98 exhaust manifolds were. The car runs cool and the fan turns on right away when the car is started and is programmed to do that in the chip. On a 98 degree day last year I sat on the freeway freaked out and it never went above 225.

That's about it. This is beautiful car and I do not want to see it go. But for $7700.00 cash it can be yours. It is not a piece of junk, it is not a 100 point show car. It is a fun as hell to drive car with enough power to put a smile on your face and everyone you pass gets a smile on theirs and usually waves and gives a thumbs up. If I have to keep it, I happily will. I am ready to move on should a new owner want to pay the asking price however. That will be sad. Please call me at 801-638-8463 if you have any questions or are a SERIOUS buyer. Car is located in Bloomfield, CT. My feedback should show I have described the car honestly and to my best ability. Thank you.

EDIT: Regarding the Lear Siegler material I have enough to do the ENTIRE interior over if wanted. It does not need it, but there is enough material to do the front seats, back seats and door panels.
