This Camaro has has only 12,850 original miles under its belt. It features the original deluxe interior with radio delete. Only 4,862 Z/28's were produced in 1971 and it is very difficult to find one with mileage this low and this well restored.
Finished in its original Placer Gold with black stripes. The paint and body is gorgeous, and has just been fully detailed and buffed, inside and out- a process that takes our professionals 4 days to complete. There is not a scratch or swirl to be found anywhere. It is quite possibly the best condition 71 Camaro available for purchase anywhere.
The car recently completed a full frame-off restoration using most of the orginal parts. 1971 Camaro Z/28 with 12,850 original miles that the previous owners have verified. Fully documented since the original purchase from A.J. Foyt Chevrolet in Houston, TX, the build Sheet, title history, and all previous owner's contact information including affidavits verifying the mileage are included. The car spent the majority of its life in dry storage. Factory equipped with Z/28 package, tinted glass, D80 spoiler, console, radio delete, original deluxe interior, deluxe seat belts and windshield antenna. Engine is a non-matching numbers but date correct 350/330hp with 400 Turbo transmission and 3.73 posi-traction. The original 10 bolt rear end is present. The car comes with a unique history- all verified with proper documentation, signed, and notarized by previous owners. No tall tales here.
The original owner "Dennis", bought the car new from AJ Foyt and drove it a little bit while making some performance modifications. He kept the car in storage until 1997 and a bit over 12k miles when he sold it to "Jeff". Jeff drove it briefly and decided it had too much power to serve his purpose. He called Dennis back to try and find a new owner, and ended up selling it to the son of one of Dennis' neighbors, Robert. Robert drove it a few miles and decided he was going to install a Big Block. He disassembled the car and began the work as time allowed. As life got in the way he put the loose parts and engines in storage, and soon after the contents were stolen from his storage (along with the original engine). He never drove the car again. It was then sold to its latest owner who restored the car using most of the original parts. The engine installed was a freshly rebuilt, balanced, and blueprinted date correct engine (paperwork included). The car was soon after sold to us at auction. Full details are supplied with the car.
