68 Camaro Project Solid as You will Find

This is a Must See 68 Camaro that is as solid as you will find!!

Ø     Entire unit is unbelievably solid,

Ø       New Full Quarter Panels installed on both sides, (One has three little dings from installation)

Ø       New RH Wheel House Installed,

Ø       New Trunk Floor Pan Installed,

Ø       New Trunk Header Panel Installed,

Ø       Trunk Lid is Original Equipment and Very Nice and Straight,

Ø       Floor Pans are very Solid w/ 1 small patch in right rear (No Rust, Sand Blasted and put  in Primer),

Ø       Front Sub Frame section is very solid, (Removed, Sand Blasted and put in Primer),

Ø       Hood is Original not a reproduction and is close to perfect,

Ø       Vent Grill Panel is Original not a reproduction and is also close to perfect

Ø       Both ¼ glasses, both Door Glasses and Rear Window are all in good condition, no windshield,

Ø       Bumpers Front and Rear are in nice shape with no dents and minimal scratches or rubs,

Ø       Radiator Support is very Nice,

Ø       Steering Arms, Power Steering Gear Box and Steering Column are in Place

Ø       10 bolt rear end, (Removed, Sandblasted, Painted Black and re-installed)

Ø       Rear Mono Leaf Springs in rear,

Ø       Drum brakes all around,

Ø       Seats are nice, solid & Look Good, (I would probably recover),

Ø       Lower front Valance is Original not a reproduction and is nice, one area that is sort of pushed in where Bumper/License Plate Bracket mounts (Easy Fix)

Ø       Header Nose Panel is Original not a reproduction and is nice, needs a bit of tinkering but is very solid

Ø       Front Fenders are Original not reproductions, (They both need a little work but are quite solid, Few small dents and evidence of some past bondo around head light openings and a couple spots on the sides),

Ø       New Inner Fenders

Ø       Front Clip and some Interior components have been installed  so you can see what you are getting

Ø                         This is a Great Project Car, the roof has some minor surface pitting as it was originally a Vinyl Top Car (Nothing real bad, just needs a bit of glazing or a new vinyl top), most of the body work has been done, needs a bit of work to make door gaps fit properly but they do hang level and shut nice, I would soda blast the entire front clip before finishing as there is still some paint under the primer and there are some small dings and a couple small dents that need to be addressed.  The Hood and Windshield Valance are very nice, the Fenders, Nose piece and Lower front valance need minor work but are quite nice for original parts.  Once the front clip is finished the entire car needs to be prepped for paint,  (clean up a few minor scratches & dings in main body primer, block sanding, glazing, etc.).

Ø                           About $4,500.00 worth of body work and body parts have already been completed/purchased. 

ü        Wheels are Crager Hurricane Type Wheels and are Very Nice, Tires are Goodyear Eagles and have almost 100%  of the tread – Barely Used.

ü        This is a very nice project car that appears to only have 71,973 miles on it since the speedo came with the car, however there is no way of verifying that fact.

ü        Project is for sale because I just have too many irons in the fire right now and don’t have the time or money to finish it.
