Up for sale is my 1992 Chevy Camaro.
Nearly everything on the car has been replaced. The original engine has
been replaced with a 454 out of a 1993 GMC 2500 and been professionally
rebuilt, and bored out to a 468. The radiator is brand new from Mark 7 and
is guaranteed to cool a 500 hp car in 120 degree weather. The original
fuel tank has been removed and replaced with a fuel cell which is bolted into
the trunk along with new fuel lines being run throughout the car.
Sub-frame connectors have been welded in so you do not have to worry about the
unibody frame twisting. The rear end has been replaced with a brand new
mosher ford 9 inch rear end with 411 gears powdered coated black. The
tires are brand new faulklen tires and all four have been replaced. The
transmission is a beefed up tremic from 5 speed transmissions. The
mufflers have been cut off to fit on the sub-frame connectors but will be
included with the vehicle and should be able to put back on until then it runs
straight headers so it is loud. The carburetor is a 750 holly double
pumper. The computer has been cut out completely from the car. The
stock steering wheel has been replaced with a grant steering wheel.
Everything listed has 500 miles or less put on it. Most of the items have
barley been broken in. The t-tops have been replaced with glass instead
of plastic. I will include most of the documentation and receipts with
the car. I have the clear title in hand. It only gets about 8-10
mph. It was built for stop light to stop light speed and it is
quick. It was never designed as a daily driver. The speedometer and
the emergency brake both need adapters in order to work. The emergency
brake needs a new piece because the rear drum brakes were replaced with disc
brakes when the rear end was replaced. I have nearly $30,000 into the car
but I am listing it for $1,000 with no reserve. My loss is you
gain. I am in the military and do not want transport it to my new duty
station. I also do not have enough time to drive it and enjoy it anymore.
I am sure I have forgot to cover some things so please email me with any
questions. $1,000 deposit is due within the first 48 hours and the full
amount is due when the buyer picks up. Shipping is the buyers
responsibility I will not make any arrangements. I will accept paypal,
cash or certified check for payment.
On Feb-22-12 at 18:04:10 PST, seller added the following information:Just for some clarification. All of the gauges, lights, and keys work
minus the speedometer. It currently drives and functions just fine. The computer was only taken out so it could run straight from the carburetor. I have never driven it on the highway since the rebuild it was strictly used as weekend car.
