1991 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 1LE 1 Owner 8900 mi.

1991 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 1LE. 5.7L, AT. Original owner, purchased new from Gateway Chevrolet in Chicago August 1990. Vehicle currently has 8912 miles. Garage kept it's entire life, never seen snow, been in rain once. Excellent condition in and out. Car was modified with the intention of being a track day car, but I got married soon after completion and she's been a show car and sunday driver for 21 years, never raced. Modifications include; Professionally installed 6 pt. mild steel roll cage with passenger side swingout. Paxton SN89 Supercharger with upgraded impeller, smaller pulley and rare dipstick oil cooler system. NOS Charge cooler system. Paxton piggyback inline fuel pump. Edelbrock Tubular exhaust system, still has factory dual cats leading to a Hooker Aerochamber muffler (I have the original exhaust manifolds and muffler). Transmission strengthened and trans cooler added. Hurst Quarter Stick shifter, I have the original. Eibach Pro-Kit springs, installed to preserve the originals, which I have with the tags still on them. Pro Chassis frame connectors. The car was a radio delete car, I did put a Kenwood Stereo with external 10 disc changer and MTX Blue Thunder box in it, nothing was cut, it can all be easily removed and I have the original delete plate. All mods were done with the intention of being able to return the car to stock. All you'd need is a new carpet kit ($200) and you're good to go.

I have all the original parts off the car except the original air filters, spark plugs, and hood and hatch struts. This includes the Goodyear Gatorbacks which have been properly stored. Vehicle even has the original PBR brake pads. I also have every shred of dealer paperwork, including order sheets and other rare documentation, a binder full.

Vehicle has been obsessively maintained with all synthetic fluids. Could probably use a professional exterior buff. I've only waxed by hand and dusted.

There you have it. This is one of the lowest mileage 1LEs left. As it's optioned it's one of approx. 125 made. It can easily be restored to stock, and you can sell the aftermarket parts for a good buck. With Chevrolet producing the 5th Gen 1LE concept car, which will probably see production, the interest in the original 1LEs will only escalate.
