Immaculate professionally built '86 Camaro that can also easily double as a pump gas pro-street car. This rock solid car runs laser straight down the 1/4 mile in the Mid 9's and is the safest in its class with a 14 point roll cage and full halon fire system. No expense has been spared with over $72K invested as can been confirmed by the extensive build sheet below. A binder with notes, receipts, manuals, etc. is included. All certifications are up to date and this car is ready to race. There are 32 passes on this car since build completion, log is included. I am also including ET Street front tires on aluminum wheels and ET Street rear slicks that can be remounted to completely make it street legal and passenger seat w/belts. All headlamps, tail lamps, turn signals, etc and power windows are functional. Also included is the original factory rear spoiler that can be easily reinstalled if desired. Body is straight and the Corvette Torch Red paint is as close to show quality as it gets. The car was just scaled, and chassis setup- making it deadly consistent. One of the outstanding features of this car is the nitrous controller which makes class selection very flexible without having to change jets allowing it to be run in a few 9.00 and 10.00 index classes. Best Run: 9.53. Best MPH: 143 MPH. Best 60' 1.28 . No detail has been overlooked in building this car. You will not be disappointed in the attention to detail and quality. I also have the run log that includes the information for every run. The car scaled at just over 2800 lbs w/o driver with an excellent weight transfer balance per Keith at Skinny Kid Race Cars. The engine makes just over 600 hp w/o NOS per Mike at AES and it is jetted for an additional 300 hp with NOS which is adjustable with the nitrous controller. We ran it on a Mustang 250 chassis dyno and were primarily concerned with tuning for wide band O2 A/F ratio with and w/o NOS which both came in at 13.2:1 @ 6500 rpm which close to perfect as it gets. The car is set up for simplicity of operation. The switches in the overhead panel are color coded to simplify the burnout/staging sequence. Red switches ON for starting, amber switches ON for burnout, then green switches ON for pre-staging. This is to error proof which switches should be on at which time. A simple thing that takes some of the stress out of the staging process. Car was built by an engineer with GM and very particular about every detail as you can see in the photos but there are many other things about this car that you can't see either. This Camaro spent its whole street life in Florida- started with a very clean rust free car. As with all vehicles of this type, it is sold as is.
I can deliver for $1.55 per loaded mile, once full payment is made
